For those unfamiliar, KALINISAN sa Bagong Pilipinas Program is an initiative that brings together various government efforts to ensure a healthy and safe environment. Aligned with the directives of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 001-2024, the initiative aims to heighten public consciousness and involvement in environmental responsibilities, emphasizing proper waste management.

The program gained prominence after being championed by the Philippines’ President Marcos, reflecting a nationwide commitment to cleanliness and sustainable living.
