Organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) Philippines and DOT Western Visayas, this event is the inaugural leg of a four-part circuit that will traverse various locations in the Visayas region—Sipalay City, Sicogon Island, Taklong Island (Guimaras), and Boracay Island.

International Open Water Swim Circuit basically comprises of 4 unique legs – encompassing Sipalay City, Sicogon Island, Taklong Island (Guimaras), and Boracay Island. Additionally, participants can select their challenge from three distances—1.5 KM, 3 KM, or 5 KM—each offering a unique test of skill and endurance.
